Life Port Taxi Terms and Conditions

Requirements:
Minimum age: 21 years
Driving license category: B or higher -
Deposit:
Bail: CHF 1,000
Download: CHF 3,000 -
Reservations:
- Reservations can be made in writing using the reservation request form, by phone or by email. - A reservation confirmation will be sent to you by email or WhatsApp. - Unheld reservations can only be refunded with a voucher. -
Exclusions of Liability:
- The lessor will not be liable to the renter for any situation or any malfunction. -
Accidents:
- In case of an accident, the renter is obliged to immediately inform Swiss Lux Cars.
- They are also obliged to immediately inform the police and have a report prepared. -
Reservations / Exceptions:
- Luxuscar reserves the right not to deliver vehicles in bad weather conditions.
- New dates may be agreed upon for existing rental agreements.
- There are no follow-up costs on either side. -
Abroad:
- The vehicle can only be used in Switzerland. Any exceptions may be agreed upon by Luxuscar GmbH and must be obtained in writing. -
Insurance:
- Third-party liability and full coverage insurance are included. Excess: 3,000 CHF. -
- Damages up to this amount are always the responsibility of the renter!

Insurance does not cover:
- Damage to the vehicle, rims and tires, engine and transmission, etc., due to faulty driving. - Failure to observe the General Terms and Conditions also invalidates insurance coverage. - Drinking alcohol before or during the trip is strictly prohibited. - Damage resulting from drunkenness (more than 0.5 per mille) is not insured. - The renter is responsible for accidents/damages caused by gross negligence (RAIN, SNOW or ICE etc.) and damages caused by driving too close to the vehicle. -
All costs of any damage incurred will be paid immediately.

Prohibitions:
- Smoking, eating and drinking in the vehicle are prohibited! - Driving without the necessary license, novice driving, towing, car racing and participating in 1/4 mile and racing events are strictly prohibited! No insurance coverage! - Underground garages and narrow parking spaces are also prohibited! - Disabling ESP is strictly prohibited! - Off-road or forest driving is also prohibited.
- IN CASE OF ROUGH CLEANING, MUD OR DUST, 500.- CHF WILL BE DEDUCTED DIRECTLY FROM THE CLEANING FEE! -
Traffic violations:
- The renter is responsible for all traffic violations during the rental period until the vehicle is returned. - Costs will be charged to the renter. -
Transfer/Return:
- Transfer and return take place at a Swiss Lux Cars office.
- A report must be completed upon delivery/return, and any damage must be documented in writing and with photographs.
- The vehicle must be filled with fuel before return.
- In case of late return, an additional fee of 50% of the next cancelled rental will be charged. -
Misuse:
- Damage to the vehicle resulting from excessive engine revving, overheating of the clutch due to prolonged friction, cavalier starts, excessive tire wear, and any other misuse is the sole responsibility of the renter. - This damage can be definitively proven by computer! -
Driving by a Third Party:
- The renter may only transfer the right to use the vehicle to another person with the consent of the lessor. Third-party drivers must be determined by the renter when the contract is made.
